Children's social care complaints policy

This policy explains how we handle complaints about children's social care.

Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman

If you remain dissatisfied after Stage 3, you may contact the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman (LGSCO) for an independent review. The LGSCO is impartial and free to use.

You can contact the LGSCO at any time, but they will normally allow the council to consider the complaint first before they consider it.
