Visitor e-vouchers information

How to register for, buy and use visitor e-vouchers that let your visitors park near your home in Islington.

What you need to buy visitor e-vouchers

RingGo account

If you don't have a RingGo account, create one on their website first.

You will need:

  • a mobile phone number
  • name and email address
  • a password.

Resident visitor permit on RingGo

If you have not bought visitor e-vouchers before, you must apply for a resident visitor permit.

  1. Log in to your RingGo account.
  2. Click 'apply for a new permit'
  3. Choose 'resident visitor application'

You will need to give your:

  • post code
  • address
  • name
  • proof of address.

Proof of address

You must upload an image showing your proof of address. RingGo accepts:

  • driving licence
  • benefit or pension book
  • electoral register
  • Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) letter
  • energy or water bill (dated in the last three months)
  • tenancy agreement
  • latest council tax bill.

We may double-check with the electoral roll or ask for more proof of your address.

Buy visitor e-vouchers

When you have a resident visitor permit with RingGo, you can buy visitor e-vouchers.

You will need:

  • your visitor’s vehicle registration number - e-vouchers are linked to the vehicle's number plate
  • how long your visitor needs to park 
  • debit or credit card.

There are three ways to buy e-vouchers.

You can get e-vouchers to use straight away or up to two days in advance.

If you don’t have the internet or have problems using computers or mobile phones, you can call 020 7527 1414 or visit the Islington Customer Centre, 222 Upper Street, N1 1XR or a local library. 

Refunds

We can only consider refunds if you tell us by 4pm the day before you needed to use the e-voucher.
