Our secondary schools have much to be proud of, with each one rated either ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted and pupil outcomes being in the top third nationally. They work tirelessly to support every pupil and deliver strong outcomes year after year. In 2025, 94% of Year 11 leavers moved into education, employment or training, with the vast majority continuing their learning journey. This is testament to the dedication of our school leaders, teachers and support staff, and to the ambition of our young people.
We work hard to enable every pupil to reach their full potential in a great Islington school. Those with special educational needs and disabilities typically have “positive experiences” in Islington schools and are “at the centre” of the work to support them, independent inspectors noted in June this year.
