Drug and alcohol support for young people

Free and confidential counselling or drug and alcohol support for young people who live, study, or work in Islington.

What support you can get

You can get:

  • counselling to support your wellbeing and mental health
  • support with drug and alcohol issues

Who it's for

We can support you if you:

  • are aged 12 to 21
  • are aged up to 25 if you're in local authority care, have mild learning disabilities, or special education needs
  • live, work or study in Islington
  • have a GP in Islington

How we will help you

Our trained staff can give one-to-one support including:

  • listening and understanding – we’re here to listen without judgement to understand your wellbeing or how drugs and alcohol affect your life
  • working together – we'll explore your situation and learn more about you to work out what support you need
  • creating your plan – together, we'll create a plan tailored to you and your goals and look at ways to reduce risk
  • staying connected – we’ll catch up regularly, celebrate your progress, and adjust support as needed so you're not alone

We can meet you where you feel comfortable such as our offices, your school or college, youth hubs or your home (in special circumstances).
