Residents have decided how to spend £15,000 on Nailour and Boston!

Residents from Nailour and Boston submitted proposals to spend a £15,000 grant on activities and projects to benefit your estate and the local community. We invited everyone to join us at Nailour Community Hall on 20 April to decide which proposals to fund. We’re excited to share that five proposals were chosen to each receive a £3,000 grant:

  • Stay and Play group for under 5s, parents and carers
  • community gardening workshops
  • sustainable planting for Nailour and Boston
  • community pottery workshops
  • youth activities in Nailour Community Hall

What’s Next

We’re working with residents to bring your proposals to life, so keep an eye out for more information over the next few months. If you’re interested in supporting one of the proposals or would like to receive more information about how to take part, please email engagement@islington.gov.uk or call us on 07547 868 033.
