Christmas opening times

There are changes to some services because of Christmas Day (Thursday 25 December) and New Year's Day (Thursday 1 January). This includes what day we will collect your rubbish and recycling, library opening times, parking enforcement and more.

Other gaming permits

We may also issue the following permits: 

  • unlicensed family entertainment centres 
  • prize gaming
  • clubs (club gaming permits and club machine permits).  

Applications for these permits are rare in Islington and interested persons are advised to contact the gambling licensing team for further information.
