Christmas opening times

There are changes to some services because of Christmas Day (Thursday 25 December) and New Year's Day (Thursday 1 January). This includes what day we will collect your rubbish and recycling, library opening times, parking enforcement and more.

Business waste collection times

Find out when our service collects business waste for each of the major roads in Islington.

  • Your business waste contract will tell you your collection details, including the collection method and the day and time of collection.
  • Collection timings depend on individual contracts or time-banded zone, if one applies.
  • Please remember that you are only permitted to place your waste on the street at certain times of the day and you must place your waste out no more than 30 minutes before collection.

If your business is not located in any of the time-banded streets listed below, your waste should be presented and removed between 6pm and 6am.

If you are cannot meet these requirements, please contact your waste provider.
