Who can vote
To vote in the Junction ward by-election, you must be:
- registered to vote
- 18 or over on the day of the election (polling day)
- a British, Irish, qualifying Commonwealth or EU citizen
- a resident at an address in the London Borough of Islington in the Junction ward.
You must not be legally excluded from voting.
How to vote
You can:
- vote in person on polling day, which is Thursday 28 November 2024
- apply for a postal vote before 5pm on Wednesday 13 November 2024
- apply for a proxy vote (nominate someone to vote in-person for you) before 5pm on Wednesday 20 November 2024.
If you are voting in person, you must bring photo ID to vote.
If you do not have the right type of voter ID, you can apply for a Voter Authority Certificate (VAC) before 5pm on Wednesday 20 November 2024.
